are digital audio files that can be downloaded off the internet. (Digital).

Waveform audio file are standards in storing audio bit

CD’s are short for compact disk that you download

Short for Audio Interchange File Format. It is a format
for storing and transmitting sampled sound. It is also used by silicon
graphics incorporated (SGI).

Cassettes contain a length of audio tape, videotape
etc. to listen to either in-doors or out-doors. (Analogue)

Flac;
Also short for Free Lossless Audio Codec. Flac is an
audio compression format like MP3, it basically discard audio information
that humans can’t hear.

Vinyl are made from plastic and used for wallpapers and
other covering materials and can also be used for gramophone records

TASK THREE/ Answer the following questions about each of your examples;
- What kind of audio production is this? (ie. Podcast, radio show, sound design)
Transformers 3 sound design - The transformers pin that I have pined on my pinterest account is a sound design;. A sound design make different noises that would go with different films or computer games etc. such as if they was somebody punching in a game they would punch a piece of cardboard and increase the punch volume to fit nicely with the punch.
Podcast - My podcast pin is a podcast. A podcast is a audio file that you can get off a internet website that you can download onto your computer, laptop etc.
The ghost train radio drama audio - The ghost train pin that i pined onto my pinterest is a radio drama. A radio drama is a drama that is just a audio file that they put on the radio ant time of the day in stead of putting on the television where you can see a moving image.
- How do you believe this show was produced? (In a studio or on location? What kind of equipment did they use?)
Transformers 3 sound design; The transformers 3 sound design I believe that has been made in a studio where they ever do stunts to make the sounds they need or other techniques, but they can also do them on location such as; at home. They would use a mic in this type of media in the audio production industry.
Podcast; Podcast I believe that they could of done them on either in a studio or on location as they are only a audio file. Podcast aren't as complicated a program or film as all you will need to do is speech into a mic. You can make podcast's at home also about various categories such as films, music or sports.
The ghost train radio drama; The ghost train would of been produced in a studio where one of the employees would read out a script for example such as the old radio drama Batman and Robin. The would use a mic for making a radio drama.

Transformers 3 sound design; The strengths for a sound design is that they can make the computer games and filming industry much more successful because they are making the sounds more realistic. The weaknesses for a sound design is that making all the sound designs could be much more time consuming because they would need to the best object for example to hit to get the best sound.
Podcast; The strengths of making a podcast is that it can be less time consuming then making a radio drama and a sound design because it is less complicated as you could just say what you need to say about something liking television and be done with it and then upload it onto a internet website where people can download it for free or for money.
The ghost train radio drama; The strengths of making a radio drama can also be time consuming as much more creating goes into it like not only as an audio file of somebody speaking goes into a radio drama also sound design will as going back to he batman and robin radio drama they use a lot of violence noises and use the words "Kapow" etc.
